Long Time, No Post

Oh wow! It’s been almost a month since I posted on here!! I’ve just been so busy with school (My new school really loves to give out homework!) and dance. I’ll try to post more often (namely the weekends! There’s no way I can post during the week if I want to go to bed at a decent hour!). So just bear with me, please.

Time to hit the books!

I’m so excited for the coming fall. I really like the direction that fashion is going. All these lovely muted earth tones are exactly my style. Coupled with my love of cold weather, fall is a season to look forward to!

Top 20 Grossest Foods

Is yours on the list? I was surprised, I thougth for sure that meatloaf would be on there, but it wasn’t!!!! And hard-boiled eggs were!!!! Let me just say that whoever invented hard-boiled eggs is a genius!!! Some things I agree with, like canned tuna. I just cannot stand the stench or texture of it. My dad catches fresh tuna all the time, and my mom cooks it up and it’s delicious! Just not the canned stuff. What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? I want to hear your thoughts!

These Are a Few of my Favorite Things…

A man wants to have library themed ice cream! I totally agree with his site’s philosophy: “(1) Libraries are awesome; (2) Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is tasty; therefore: (3) A library-themed Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream would be tasty awesome.” Some flavors would be Li-Berry Pie, Sh-sh-sh-Sherbert, and the Gooey Decimal System. Sounds good to me!

I’m a firm believer that accessories make the outfit. For if you have a nice outfit, but you add a bracelet here, a scarf there, now you’ve got a fabulous outfit, no?

Alice in Wonderland

I just watched the trailer and I can’t wait! Johnny Depp is perfect as the Mad Hatter! All the characters look wonderfully whimsical (alliteration unintended) and also slightly creepy.

Shoe Addiction

If you haven’t noticed my addiction, then you need to wake up! (or pay attention, if you’ve been reading this).  I just saw these on Jenine’s blog, www.the-coveted.com. I really like these because they look like they were cobbled together at the last minute with straight pins and safety pins.

These were designed by Erna Einarsdottir, an Icelandic designer and a Dutch fashion graduate.

Shoes, Glorious Shoes!

I think these will make my all time favorites list. Too bad the white ones aren't carried anymore.

I don’t know what I would do with out my converse. They are the greatest things since sliced bread. They’re comfortable, colorful, and you can even make your own. (One of my favorite things to do recently is to go on converse.com and design my own pair.) I found these and I just had to share them with the world. Even if the world doesn’t read this.

I just love this necklace. But isn’t it kind of sad? What do you think?

Love At First Sight

I just received an ad from Famous Footwear in the mail yesterday (it’s advertising ‘Back to School ’09′!!!! It’s the middle of July!). I paged through it just in case, thinking that there probably wouldn’t be anything I liked; but that thought bounced out of my head the minute I saw these:
